Petition to Impeach Bush and his Top Officials   For you to sign
Comment by Larry Ross
December 31, 2005
Here is a vitally important petition to the U.S. Senate to impeach George Bush and key administration officials. Bush
has committed so many impeachable offences against the U.S. Constitution and against international law. His lies to Americans to get them to support his war on Iraq is a major impeachable offence. His continuing to make illegal, unjustified war every day, resulting in the death or maiming of thousands of Americans is an impeachable offence.

And he is actually the most powerful man in the world!!! Unbelievable - He can't even control himself.

U.S. Public Has Adapted to Bush
Comment by Larry Ross
December 29, 2005
Robert Steinback has written an excellent analysis of how far the American public has adapted to Bushism since the 9/11
attack in 2001. Although Bush's popularity has gone down to 35%, his control over the country is not seriously challenged.
He still gets what he wants with a few modest objections. More importantly he continues to wage an illegal war based on lies, and plans for a war on Iran, perhaps with nuclear weapons. Remarkably few object. Even the Democratic Party don't oppose him, and refused to tell the American people the truth about Bush's Iraq war lies. They actually support that illegal war based on a litany of lies They refuse to expose and fight Bush's electronic voting machine fraud in the 2004 election, that gave him another term in the Whitehouse. There is no longer a real opposition party in the USA.
Fear destroys what bin Laden could not
by Robert Steinback
December 27, 2005

If, back in 2001, anyone had told me that four years after bin Laden's attack our president would admit that he broke U.S. law against domestic spying and ignored the Constitution -- and then expect the American people to congratulate him for it -- I would have presumed the girders of our very Republic had crumbled.
Had anyone said our president would invade a country and kill 30,000 of its people claiming a threat that never, in fact, existed, then admit he would have invaded even if he had known there was no threat -- and expect America to be pleased by this -- I would have thought our nation's sensibilities and honor had been eviscerated.

U.S. Neocons Promote War With Iran For Israel
Comment by Larry Ross
December 13, 2005

One of the strongest influences in the Bush Administration are the Neo-Conservatives. They fill many of the top positions in the Bush Administration. Their war plans for the U.S. in the Middle East have so far been implemented, such as their phoney war with Iraq. It was promoted before the 9/11 attack- the "Pearl Harbour" the Neocons claimed they needed to justify the war to the American people. Although the war was based on a number of lies - now well-known and publicised, both the Republicans and Democrats want victory over Iraq - nothing less. This and John Kerry and Hillary Clinton's silence about the war lie's is one of many indications that the Democrats have sold out to the Republicans and that the American system of Democracy has been corrupted by the military/industrial complex, other corporates, the oil interests and other special interests.

Neocons Concentrate on Promoting U.S.-Iran War
by Andrew I. Killgore, Washington Report
March 2005

Steven P. Weisman wrote in The New York Times of Nov. 19 that the “biggest challenge” in President George W. Bush’s second term is “how to contain” Iran’s nuclear program. In fact, however, Iran constitutes no threat to the United States. Its “threat” is to Israel, according to “some” (read neocons) in the administration who believe that Iran supports violence against Israel and helps the resistance in Iraq.

Formula for U.S. Wars On Islam
Comment by Larry Ross
December 1, 2005

Drefuss's article (follows) is the best I have read yet which reveals how the U.S. foments wars and makes enemies under cover of "spreading Democracy In The Middle East".
The U.S. is practising Machiavellian tactics (a hallmark of Bush's neoconservative administration) at home and abroad and using Orwellian techniques to befuddle, terrorise and ultimately sell it to the American public.

Dreyfuss on Bush's Deadly Dance with Islamic Theocrats

November 30, 2005

During his embattled summer vacation in Crawford, Texas, George Bush managed to launch a new promotional ditty for his war in Iraq: "As Iraqis stand up, we will stand down." Since then there has been much commentary from the administration, from military officials, and from the media on the question of how successfully the Iraqi military is actually "standing up."

Evidence Mounts That Bush Wants New Wars
by Bill Christison Former CIA analyst
November 18, 2005

.....To repeat, despite Bush's arguments to the contrary, the "clash of civilizations" would consist of wars started by us. The killing of innocent people in these wars is likely to be massive, and the wars could at any time turn nuclear. If the people and the politicians of America allow these wars to take place, the stain on the morality of Americans will last for generations.

Fascism Growing In America, Britain and Australia?
It is likely that the US brand of Fascism will become much more overt and repressive, especially if given a boost along that road by new 9/11 incidents. Bush will have to act soon to reverse his declining popularity and muster public support for US attacks on Syria and Iran. A new 9/11 would allow the Bush Administration to implement the next phase of the neo-conservative US global domination plan.

to Continuing US-UK War Crimes in Iraq Now Tony Blair's military are putting Kendall-Smith on trial for refusing to serve again in Iraq because he believes the war is illegal. The evidence keeps piling up, far more than we had in 2003 and 2004 that the war is illegal and violates every law, every convention, every treaty on every aspect of waging war, that humanity has ever created. Really it is so absolutely stupefying, and I am amazed that there is so little opposition to Blair's colossal deceit. The British people seem to be as much a pushover for war propaganda and lies as the Germans were under Hitler. But it's worse, far worse.......

The Epic Crime That Dares Not Speak Its Name
by John Pilger
October 27, 2005

The question of legality deeply concerns the British military brass, who sought Tony Blair's assurance on the eve of the invasion, got it and, as they now know, were lied to. They are right to worry; Britain is a signatory to the treaty that set up the International Criminal Court, which draws its codes from the Geneva Conventions and the 1945 Nuremberg Charter. The latter is clear: "To initiate a war of aggression... is not only an international crime, it is the supreme international crime, differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole."

  Terrorist Action and Threats?
Comment by Larry Ross
October 27, 2005

The following short, humorous piece raises some very profound and disturbing questions about the London bombings. Using the alleged terrorist action as justification, Tony Blair is trying to push draconian anti-terrorist laws through the UK Parliament. These proposed laws seem to have little real purpose in opposing and detecting terrorists. But they would be very effective in intimidating the public, silencing dissent, curtailing civil liberties, and generally increasing control of the general public. Tony Blair is deeply enmeshed in a web of deceit, using a tissue of lies to deceive the UK public and Parliament into supporting the illegal invasion, occupation and continued war on the Iraqi people.

Bush's Iraq War: Campaign Politics, Oil, Israel, And Empire
by Frank Rich
October 24, 2005

.... - American military commanders testified before Congress about their already overtaxed troops and equipment in March 2002 - the path was clear for a war in Iraq to serve as the political Viagra Mr. Rove needed for the election year.
.....For Mr. Rove and Mr. Bush to get what they wanted most, slam-dunk midterm election victories, and for Mr. Libby and Mr. Cheney to get what they wanted most, a war in Iraq for reasons predating 9/11, their real whys for going to war had to be replaced by fictional, more salable ones.
.....Mr. Libby and Mr. Cheney were in the boiler room of the disinformation factory. The vice president's repetitive hyping of Saddam's nuclear ambitions in the summer and fall of 2002 as well as his persistence in advertising bogus Saddam-Qaeda ties were fed by the rogue intelligence operation set up in his own office.        bushwatch

A political and media onslaught is about to be unleashed with the indictments of a whole host of key White House officials (including you-know-who) caught up in the Plamegate coverup. The unraveling of this potentially treasonous scandal -- which began with the outing, for political reasons, of a covert CIA officer -- could well provide the tipping point that will allow the Democrats to retake the House in the next election, initiate Congressional investigations of Bush Administration crimes, and possibly even pass an impeachment resolution.

Cheney's Formula For Endless War and U.S. Empire
Comment by Larry Ross
October 18, 2005

... U.S. strategy is to create the 'so-called ' terrorist threat' which can then be used to justify targeting any nation the U.S. selects in its endless war on terror (GWOT). By attacking various countries, which they justify by lies, as in Iraq, the Bush Administration makes an endless supply of enemies. Bush and his neocons then label them as 'terrorists'. They blame neighbouring nations for helping these 'terrorists' and proceed with the next phase in the U.S. PNAC expansionist plan.

Vice President Cheney in a recent speech to US military personnel has acknowledged that the war could go on for several decades. This statement, which reveals the Bush Administration's commitment to global warfare, was barely mentioned by the mainstream media.
We are dealing with a "military roadmap". Iraq and Afghanistan are at the outset of the Bush administration's military adventure.

War Expert Tells How It's Done and Why

October 11, 2005

General Smedley Butler's 1933 speech is a classic that applies to Bush and his wars today. General Butler's worst fears have come true - this time with much larger annihilation devices at the command of Bush and his neocons. He gives many examples of the greatly inflated profits enjoyed by the wide range of manufacturers who make materials used in war - from munitions to warships to uniforms. Bush promised an endless "war on terror" to defend Democracy". He is delivering on this promise while creating a record-breaking national debt and enormous profits for the myriad of people and company's engaged in the runaway US war machine.

War Is A Racket It always has been
by Smedley Butler
1933

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.
A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.

  Various Ways Extinction Could Occur
Comment by Larry Ross
September 29, 2005

Mankind has created a number of ways which could be used to trigger an extinction process, as assessed by this article by editors of the Bulletin Of Atomic Scientists in Dec 2004. Some factors not assessed, even more relevant today are: 1. The possibility of an unbalanced, rogue and/or ideologically-driven government gaining power and deliberately implementing a strategy of war and terror attacks which then escalate into a self-extinction process. Some suspect this may already be happening....

Nuclear War Plans Can Lead To Extinction
Comment by Larry Ross
September 26, 2005

A search on "Pre-emptive Nuclear War" revealed there are 1,750,000 entries on Google.
They illustrate the colossal investment in designing and making various types of nuclear weapons and the strategies to use them.
Think about the hundreds of billions of dollars poured into the nuclear arms race during the last 65 years since 1945. Now think about the paltry fig-leaf sum devoted to peace and disarmament and the suspicion and rejection of those working in this field. These facts and reflections tell you something about humanity and our runaway race toward extinction.

Six Escalation Scenarios Spiraling to World Nuclear War
by Carol Moore

A world nuclear war is one that involves most or all nuclear powers releasing a large proportion of their nuclear weapons at targets in nuclear, and perhaps non-nuclear, states. Such a war could be initiated accidentally, aggressively or pre-emptively and could continue and spread through these means or by retaliation by a party attacked by nuclear weapons. While some speak of "limited nuclear war," it is likely that any nuclear war will quickly escalate and spiral out of control because of the "use them or loose them" strategy. If you don't use all your nuclear weapons you are likely to have them destroyed by the enemy's nuclear weapons.

Pre-emptive Nuclear War - A Road Map to Extinction
Comment by Larry Ross
September 26, 2005

This 2003 paper gives a historical record of the development of nuclear war as a tool to achieve US military objectives.
No longer were nuclear weapons to be regarded as a deterrent "last resort" type of doomsday device. There was a new doctrine to use nuclear weapons first or "pre-emptively" - supposedly before the claimed enemy had a chance to use what the Pentagon calls "weapons of mass destruction" against the US.
The Pentagon will supply the so-called "intelligence" to justify it. This would likely be a phoney doctored intelligence, similar to what they supplied to justify the war on Iraq with a litany of accusations later found to be false.
Based on what they knew to be lies, Bush for the US and Blair for the UK , nevertheless warned they might use nuclear weapons against Iraq if Iraq resisted the US-UK invasion with WMD.
The alleged WMD could be anything the Bush Administration chose to define as WMD.

  U.S. PRE-EMPTIVE NUCLEAR STRIKE PLAN
by Jeffrey Steinberg
March 7, 2003

It Keeps Getting Scarier and Scarier
...The prospect of the U.S. using nuclear weapons against Iraq adds a new, even more horrifying dimension to the threat of war in the Persian Gulf. LaRouche has already called on President Bush to renounce this madness.
The leak of the Jan. 10, 2003 document did not come in a vacuum. For the past year, the Bush Administration has been moving, step by step, to overturn a fifty year policy of keeping nuclear weapons on the shelf, as part of America's strategic deterrent. Here is a short chronology:
In January 2002, the Bush Administration issued its Nuclear Posture Review, a Congressionally mandated report on the U.S. nuclear weapons program.
For the first time, the 2002 report openly discussed the possible use of nuclear weapons, naming seven countries that could be targets of the American nuclear arsenal: Russia, China, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Libya and Syria.

This space ship was traveling at record speeds, more than 10 miles per second, and carrying more than 72 pounds of radioactive plutonium on board. It was only seconds away from a possible inadvertent reentry into Earth's atmosphere, which would have released more than 400,000 curies of radiation in a breathable/ingest able form. This could have resulted in millions of fatalities, and untold suffering for generations to come.

US Creates Perpetual War and Terrorism
by Larry Ross
September 20, 2005

Although written in 2002, the following article gives a blueprint on how the US can create covertly, the very terrorism they condemn and which they use to justify wars - such as the much-predicted war on Iran. It may seem puzzling and counterproductive why the so-called terrorists in Iraq seem to be attacking Sunnis and Shiites in the apparent attempt to foment a civil or religious war between the two factions. Why would they do that if the objective is to get rid of US occupation?
On the other hand if a civil war did develop in Iraq, the US would have a reason to remain rather than withdraw, thus giving them a motive to foment a civil war between the two factions.
The British used similar techniques called "divide and rule" - setting one faction against another - in building their Empire.

This column stands foursquare with the Honorable Donald H. Rumsfeld, U.S. Secretary of Defense, when he warns that there will be more terrorist attacks against the American people and civilization at large. We know, as does the Honorable Donald H. Rumsfeld, U.S. Secretary of Defense, that this statement is an incontrovertible fact, a matter of scientific certainty. And how can we and the Honorable Donald H. Rumsfeld, U.S. Secretary of Defense, be so sure that there will be more terrorist attacks against the American people and civilization at large?
Because these attacks will be instigated at the order of the Honorable Donald H. Rumsfeld, U.S. Secretary of Defense.

Throughout human history, we have created many ingenious reasons to go to war - thousands of wars.   New Terrorist 'Attack' and Nuclear War on Iran Planned
by Larry Ross
September 19, 2005

n the article below, past US presidential candidate, Lyndon LaRouche predicts a new Bush neocon-generated terrorist attack on the US.
This will be used as an excuse to launch a nuclear attack on Iran, as 9/11 was used to launch an attack on Iraq.

Iraq was accused by a litany of false accusations and outright lies before Bush launched his war. Iran will be similarly accused to justify a US attack. The US people were fooled by Bush's Iraq lies. They approved and re-elected him. As before, the media will repeat the lies justifying the US attack and back new 'patriot' laws suppressing civil liberties, conscription of Americans for war, and smothering any criticism or dissent. Congress and the Senate will fall over themselves praising Bush's leadership and heroism in this time of crisis. Bush's popularity will skyrocket.

Another Step to Self-Extinction
by Larry Ross
August 23, 2005

Carefully analyse the Russian warning below. It is an ominous warning, but unlikely to deter the Bush Administration's advanced war plans for Iran.
All governments should know about Bush's policies on pre-emptive nuclear war, instructions to the Pentagon for a nuclear assault plan that might be used against Iran, taking out those nations the President decrees could become potential enemies, his 'Axis of Evil' speech and what it means, his Nuclear Posture Review, warning that up to 7 nations could be attacked with US nuclear weapons including Russia and China and the 3 crisis situations that could set it off: (1) The Middle East, (2) The Korean Peninsula (3) China and Taiwan. There are more. The self-justifying, self-fulfilling delusional aspects of Bush's reality, as he chooses to define and express in his recent speeches, also have to be taken into account. Never forget that Bush and Blair manufactured the hideous situation they studiously defend and continue in spite of being exposed as dangerous liars.

The Terrorist of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
by DOUG THOMPSON
August 22, 2005

My first reaction to George W. Bush’s all-too-obvious politicizing of the memories of September 11, 2001, in his latest lame attempt to justify his illegal and immoral war in Iraq, was anger.
Then anger gave way to sadness.
Sadness over a morality-challenged politician’s use of the deaths of 3,000 plus Americans for his own political gain.
And even more sadness because there are still people out there stupid enough to fall for this kind of crap.
Bush has pulled this stunt before. He keeps 9/11 in his bag of tricks as a last-ditch effort to save his corrupt political hide when things go bad. And, according to polls, things are bad. An increasing majority of Americans no longer buy his lies about Iraq and oppose the war along with growing numbers who finally realize the President of the United States is a liar who cannot be trusted.

Radiation Expert Claims High-Radiation Readings Near Pentagon After 9/11 Indicates Depleted Uranium Used.
Two high profile radiation experts concur Pentagon strike involved use of a missile. Also Geiger counter readings right after the attack shows high levels of radiation 12 miles away from Pentagon crash site.
A radiation expert and high-ranking Army Major, who once headed the military's depleted uranium project, both contend the Pentagon was hit by missile, not a commercial jetliner, adding high radiation readings after the strike indicate depleted uranium also may have been used.
"I'm not an explosives or crash site expert, but I am highly knowledgeable in causes and effects related to nuclear radiation contamination. What happened at the Pentagon is highly suspicious, leading me to believe a missile with a depleted uranium warhead may have been used," said radiation expert Leuren Moret in a telephone conversation this week from her Berkeley, CA home.

Preparations For Next War?
by Larry Ross
July 24, 2005

This is one of the best short analysis of who did, and who didn't, do the London bombings. It seems clear that so-called "Islamic terrorists" were not responsible.

The Iran War Buildup
by MICHAEL T. KLARE
July 21, 2005

There is no evidence that President Bush has already made the decision to attack Iran if Tehran proceeds with uranium-enrichment activities viewed in Washington as precursors to the manufacture of nuclear munitions. Top Administration officials are known to have argued in favor of military action if Tehran goes ahead with these plans--a step considered more likely with the recent election of arch-conservative Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as Iran's president--but Bush, so far as is known, has not yet made up his mind in the matter. One thing does appear certain, however: Bush has given the Defense Department approval to develop scenarios for such an attack and to undertake various preliminary actions. As was the case in 2002 regarding Iraq, the building blocks for an attack in Iran are beginning to be put into place.

Firstly, they all bought return tickets and bought an eight-hour ‘park and ride’ ticket in Luton, so they most definately intended to return. The Mirror story asserts they intended to plant the rucksacks but were ‘fooled’ by their ‘handler’.

But by another calculation, the tax dollar splits 68 cents for defense and 32 cents on everything else. It is a common misconception that U.S. defense expenditure is equivalent to the Department of Defense outlays. Instead of $436.4 billion of defense expenditure, as Congressional budgeteers count, government statisticians in the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) counted $548.0 billion for calendar year 2004—a whopping $112 billion difference. And by our own calculations, U.S. defense expenditure is much higher than even the BEA's numbers suggest, namely $765.6 billion in calendar year 2004—about $330 billion or than the Department of Defense outlays.

Blair's Blowback
by Gary Younge

Of course those who backed the Iraq war refute any link with the London bombs - they are in the deepest denial
Shortly after September 11 2001, when the slightest mention of a link between US foreign policy and the terrorist attacks brought accusations of heartless heresy, the then US national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice got to work. Between public displays of grief and solemnity she managed to round up the senior staff of the National Security Council and ask them to think seriously about "how do you capitalise on these opportunities" to fundamentally change American doctrine and the shape of the world. In an interview with the New Yorker six months later, she said the US no longer had a problem defining its post-cold war role. "I think September 11 was one of those great earthquakes that clarify and sharpen. Events are in much sharper relief."

Robert Fisk: The reality of this barbaric bombing
by Robert Fisk

If we are fighting insurgency in Iraq, what makes us think insurgency won't come to us?
"If you bomb our cities," Osama bin Laden said in one of his recent video tapes, "we will bomb yours." There you go, as they say. It was crystal clear Britain would be a target ever since Tony Blair decided to join George Bush's "war on terror" and his invasion of Iraq. We had, as they say, been warned. The G8 summit was obviously chosen, well in advance, as Attack Day.

We have already crossed the Rubicon. We are already in Hell. World War III in Eurasia is already ongoing. There was not an Iraq war; there is a continuing Iraq war. There was not an Afghanistan war; there is a continuing Afghanistan war. There's already an onset of a war with Iran, being run covertly, as a covert operation, from the United States, in Iran right now! You see it on the television screens here. That is not a spontaneous student movement. That is a U.S.-run destabilization of Iran, trying to set up the conditions for a war. The situation in Korth Korea; other situations I know of; we are now inside World War III. It is not something that we could prevent from happening. We're there.

He is absolutely committed to continue these crimes, and will likely increase them. There seems to be no serious and powerful opposition from the Democrats or others, such as the mass media, to Bush's administration and actions.

Operation Northwoods - More Comprehensive Details
by Larry Ross
June 27, 2005

James Bamford's book "Body of Secrets" gives particularly valuable insight into who was involved in Northwoods; how pervasive such thinking was in the Pentagon, and how incredible extremist and evil it was. Secretary of Defence McNamara's rejection of the plan in 1962, for the US to create terrorist acts and blame Cuba as a pretext for launching a war on Cuba, did not stop such thinking and planning.

For those military officers who were sitting on the fence, the Kennedy administration's botched Bay of Pigs invasion was the last straw. "The Bay of Pigs fiasco broke the dike," said one report at the time. "President Kennedy was pilloried by the super patriots as a 'no-win' chief . . . The Far Right became a fount of proposals born of frustration and put forward in the name of anti-Communism. . . Active-duty commanders played host to anti-Communist seminars on their bases and attended or addressed Right-wing meetings elsewhere."

Anatomy of the Ultra-Secret National Security Agency From the Cold War Through the Dawn of a New Century
Back in 1982 James Bamford published THE PUZZLE PALACE, the first book-length study of the National Security Agency, the U. S. Government's mammoth but super-secretive agency devoted to electronic eavesdropping on the rest of the world. That book caused some sharp tremors in military and government circles.
Now Bamford is back with an updated and much more exhaustive study of the same subject. BODY OF SECRETS is detailed history, description, critical assessment, editorial comment, and character study all rolled into one massively researched volume. It should cause an earthquake or two.

Someone Tell Bush That Iraq Wasn't Responsible for 9/11
by Jason Leopold
June 21, 2005

Before another War Breaks Out
The 9/11 terrorist attacks and the so-called threat from Iraq's non-existent WMD's was just an excuse-a smokescreen this administration used as a way to skirt international laws and to sell the war to a gullible media and a misinformed public-the president's cabinet used so they could execute a decades-old plan cooked up by hardcore Neocons to spread democracy throughout the Middle East by conquering "rogue" nations such as Iraq like some modern day Roman Empire. They call it Pax Americana, Latin for "American Peace."

. . . . evidence that the 9/11 attacks were were not as portrayed by the Bush Administration and the mass media.
I suggest that this tragedy and its implications, and the actions that have flowed from it, be of the greatest concern to responsible people everywhere. Two wars have been justified - Afghanistan and Iraq - on the basis of the official story of the 9/11 attack. The centre piece of the Bush Administration is the enormously expensive and destructive so-called "war on terror". More wars (perhaps on Iran and Syria and others) have been suggested.

The Downing Street memos have created such a stir that even Congress is rubbing its eyes and awakening from its long slumber to ask questions about the Iraq war: a hearing convened by antiwar Democrats, chaired by Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), has created quite a lot of buzz, generating headlines – and howls of outrage from all the usual suspects, as well as from the Washington Post's Dana Milbank and – surprise, surprise! – Howard "The Scream" Dean. Milbank snarks:
"In the Capitol basement yesterday, long-suffering House Democrats took a trip to the land of make-believe. They pretended a small conference room was the Judiciary Committee hearing room, draping white linens over folding tables to make them look like witness tables and bringing in cardboard name tags and extra flags to make the whole thing look official."

It is 1962, at the height of the induced US paranoia over Cuba. Pentagon Hawks and their right-wing political allies
created a diabolically evil plan to covertly murder American citizens and blame Cuban agents in the US. The purpose was to provide a believable excuse that would anger Americans and the world, causing them to support a US war against Cuba. All top Pentagon generals approved this plan. The Kennedy Administration did not approve it.

Being taught this spring, the course explores the validity of the government's official 9/11 story, the many alternative theories advanced and the way the war on terrorism has drastically changed American life.

To justify the war on Iraq and everything since, Bush's neocons wrote in their pre-9/11 Iraq war plans that "we need another Pearl Harbour". 9/11 gave it to them, and they were keen to start the pre-planned Iraq war from the day 9/11 happened. They did not have a shred of real evidence to support this war, so they created a litany of justifying lies. Other articles on this site under "US Elections" and "9/11 Questions" show US election fraud and doubt the 'official' story on the origins of 9/11.

‘Hang on,’ I said to myself on hearing the Baroness, ‘that can’t be right.’ My mum can remember lying in bed hearing bombs drop, and she once saw a V1 go over and heard the engine cut out as she watched. As an army officer a decade ago I used to have to check under my car for IRA bombs every time I went out. Army officers don’t have to do that any more. The gravest threat ever? Surely not.

Mass Murdering Iranians: Nearly Half of All Americans Agree

by Kurt Nimmo, "ICH"
January 20, 2005

I have big problems with opinion polls, especially those conducted by the corporate news industry, but a recent survey by the Washington-based Opinion Research Corporation for the nonprofit and nonpartisan Results For America, which is a project of the Civil Society Institute, makes perfect sense, considering the mindset of at least half of all voting Americans, especially those in the Deliverance states. “A major new national opinion survey of 1,608 American voters released this week shows that only 42 percent would support the U.S. invasion of Iran to stop its nuclear program,” writes Anwar Iqbal for the World Peace Herald. “Nearly half—47 percent—of U.S. voters would oppose such a move and 11 percent are unsure.”

If you live near a military base or installation, as I do here in New Mexico, you shouldn’t be surprised if terrorists attack, drive a suicide truck through the front gates and kill a whole lot of people.
Fair is fair, as they say, in love and war, especially war.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise because the Pentagon is now attacking the “military infrastructure” in Iran, as crack investigative journalist Seymour Hersh reports. Of course, when the Pentagon says “military infrastructure,” it means not only missile sites, ammo depots, etc., but also humans, the largest and most crucial part of any “military infrastructure.”

There is not now nor has there even been legal proof that Arab hijackers perpetrated the 9/11 horror. They could not be convicted of the crime in an honest court of law ("honest," of course, ruling out all U.S. courts). If Bush had real evidence, don't you think he would have produced it? Atta and the others were most likely Israeli Arabs posing as faux-hijackers to give the real perpetrators a believable cover story for their demolition-for-money of the World Trade Center.

Bush Plans Long Escalating Wars

by Larry Ross
January 2, 2005

As Robert Parry points out, Bush plans long wars, is purging any doubters like Colin Powell and installing sycophants who will support his every wish. So rather than have a more moderate second term, Bush plans on more wars. I think he will decide to use nuclear weapons and believe that nuclear weapons use has been built into the neocon middle-east plan. Otherwise why would he lower the nuclear barrier in his new preemptive war doctrines, make new nuclear weapons and plan to resume testing?

The Enemies Among Us
by Mike Whitney
December 20 , 2004

The new Intelligence reform bill is a more stunning attack on the Bill of Rights than the Patriot Act. Most people have no idea how dramatically their "inalienable" rights have been savaged, or to what extent the Congress has sold them out. It's no exaggeration to say that the foundation of personal liberty, guaranteed in the law, is cracking at the base. It'll be a miracle if we can put it back together in time to pass it on to our children.
As usual, the role of the media has been pivotal in obfuscating the details of the bill. They've fed the hysteria over the establishment of a NID; (National Intelligence Director) a glamour position that has been represented as vital to stopping another 9-11. What rubbish. Teaching Condi Rice how to read a simple e-mail from bin Laden would be twice as effective.

Ex-CIA Man Now Interim Prime Minister
Comment by Larry Ross
December 7, 2004

The US selected Iyad Allawi, who served the interests of the USA for many years as a clandestine CIA agent staging explosions in Iraq, as their interim Prime Minister of Iraq.
The US empowered Allawi, who assassinated suspected "terrorists" in police custody, to rule Iraq and "authorise" the US destruction of Fallujah. Thus he is directly involved in the killing of thousands of his fellow countrymen, both ordinary men, women and children, and anyone thought to be resisting the US invader. Basically Allawi is the US mouthpiece, trying to give legitimacy to war crimes and the criminal US invasion, occupation and continuing murder of opponents. This man can in no way represent the Iraqi people.

Dr. Allawi's group, the Iraqi National Accord, used car bombs and other explosive devices... Ex-CIA officer Robert Baer, recalled that a bombing during that period "blew up a school bus; schoolchildren were killed."

Bush's various extreme actions and desire for more wars in the Middle East may be one reason why Bush is using such extraordinary cruel tactics. November 9th, 2004 was Fallujah's 9/11 Tuesday. It marked the peak of three days of indiscriminate bombing of Fallujah by US forces.
Iraqi Defense Minister Hazem Al-Shaalan promised that the day would be decisive. It wasn't. It was inhumane beyond belief, almost beyond comprehension.
The bomb blitz featured weapons of mass destruction: banned napalm-type munitions, chemical poison gas and super-bombs of up to 2,000-pounds. The ground assault was indiscriminate. The target was a city where at least 60,000 civilians outnumbered rebel fighters by over thirty to one.

This chink in the neocon armour, is of fundamental importance and well worth a read. They continue their buoyant attitudes as their killing, bombing and general mass destruction increases.   George W. Bush and the 'politics of fear'
by Patrick Seale
November 1, 2004

President George W Bush's response to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has been a world-wide campaign to kill or capture the Muslim enemies of America - his so-called "global war on terror." It is an ambitious but, in my view, a profoundly misguided affair which has left the United States more hated, more isolated, and certainly no safer than before. Everything that could go wrong with Bush's "war" has gone wrong.
The biggest blunder was, of course, to switch the focus of America's military effort from Osama bin Laden to Saddam Hussein - from Al-Qaeda to Iraq - although there was no connection between the two and no credible evidence that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction or posed any sort of immediate threat to anyone. The result was the catastrophic war in Iraq which has drained America's resources, destroyed its reputation and brought untold miseries to the Iraqis. There is, as yet, no clear outcome in sight.

October 26, 2004

Mike Ruppert, is the author of this article which was delivered to San francisco's prestigious Commonwealth Club on August 31, 2004. He has just published a book "Crossing The Rubicon" in which he presents more details of his 9/11 charges and also on the world's 'Peak Oil' consumption.
Ruppert convincingly establishes that the Bush Administration planned and authorised the 9/11 attacks.

Address to For the Commonwealth Club - San Francisco
by Michael C. Ruppert
August 31, 2004

"The 9/11 attacks were the result of deliberate planning and orchestrated efforts by identifiable leaders within the U.S. Government, and the energy and financial sectors, to see a Pearl Harbor-like attack which would provide the American Empire with a pretext for war, invasion and the sequential confiscation of oil and natural gas reserves, or the key transportation routes through which they pass. 9-11 was a premeditated murder and in my book, and here tonight, I will name some of the suspects who committed the crime. In my book I will show you overwhelming evidence of their guilt, which I would be proud and confident to place either before a district attorney or a jury."

Bush exploits suffering of 9/11, says Carter
by Oliver Burkeman
October 25, 2004

"The Guardian" -- George Bush has exploited the suffering of September 11 and turned back decades of efforts to make the world a safer place, the former president Jimmy Carter says in an interview with the Guardian published today. Attacking Mr Bush and Tony Blair over Iraq, Mr Carter calls the war "a completely unjust adventure based on misleading statements".
He also criticises Mr Bush for "lack of effort" on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and accuses him of abandoning nuclear non-proliferation initiatives championed by five presidents.

Message to Americans From a Kentucky Senator and Judge
Comment by Larry Ross
October 23, 2004
Marlow Cook is a conservative republican whose article follows. He was a retired judge and US Kentucky Senator. He said he is "frightened to death of George Bush. I fear a secret government” .. . Bush "has no moral character at all"
Marlow says Bush is "a dangerous leader who flouts the truth, takes the country into an undeclared war and then adds a war on terrorism to it without debate by the Congress...we have a duty to rid ourselves of those who are taking our country on a perilous ride in the wrong direction."
'Frightened to death' of Bush

I shall cast my vote for John Kerry come Nov 2.
I have been, and will continue to be, a Republican. But when we as a party send the wrong person to the White House, then it is our responsibility to send him home if our nation suffers as a result of his actions. I fall in the category of good conservative thinkers, like George F. Will, for instance, who wrote: "This administration cannot be trusted to govern if it cannot be counted on to think and having thought, to have second thoughts."

Comment: Secret in the CIA Report
by Larry Ross
October 21, 2004
The following CIA Secret Report shows how Bush and accomplices are trying to suppress information about the 9/11 attacks.
The L.A. Times 19/10/04 referred to " ..the Bush administration's great determination since 9/11 to resist any serious investigation into how the security of this nation was so easily breached." It said "the president fought against the creation of the Sept. 11 commission" and "refused to testify to the commission under oath or on the record" and then when he finally agreed "to chat with the commission members, with Vice President Cheney present...commission members were not allowed to take notes."
The 9/11 Secret in the CIA's Back Pocket
by Robert Scheer
October 19, 2004
It is shocking: The Bush administration is suppressing a CIA report on 9/11 until after the election, and this one names names. Although the report by the inspector general's office of the CIA was completed in June, it has not been made available to the congressional intelligence committees that mandated the study almost two years ago.

The Most Crucial "Election" in the History of Humankind
by B.Z. Bywyd
October10, 2004

The world approaches what is arguably the most crucial "election" in the history of humankind, one which will decide the direction of America's immense military and nuclear arsenal, as well as the ideals of the European colonial (ie. Roman) "Republican" political agenda. Some find in the Bush regime a frightening premonition of Hitler's Third Reich, but being brutally honest-- the Bush regime is more dangerous in the extreme.
While the Third Reich perfected political propaganda, their ends always justifying horrific means, keep in mind they didn't have a global television network, 24 hour right-wing smear-mongers, or billionaires like Rupert Murdoch pounding their message into millions of minds-- they had newsreels and posters. While Hitler had at his disposal a vast military force, with ruthless special forces and death camps, he didn't have a global satellite survelliance network, a nuclear arsenal capable of incinerating entire countries, stealth bombers, aircraft carriers, or Trident submarines. If he had, we would all be living in a much more ruthless world, pledging allegiance to the superior white race.

ABC Reports US Military Chiefs Approved Terror Acts on US Soil
by Frederick Burks
October 6, 2004

A revealing ABC news article begins, "In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba." The article goes on to say that the plans, code-named Operation Northwoods, were approved in writing by the top US military chiefs. These plans even proposed that the US military secretly blow up an American ship and hijack US planes as a false pretext for war. Does this ring a bell? Don't miss this disturbing article.

YOU BE THE JUDGE- Revelations on 9/11
from Jon Rappoport
September 23, 2004

From Dr. Deagle:
I have a timely story to relay on warnings I received before 9/11.
The events of 911 have forever changed all Americans views of what it is to be a free citizen of a Western democracy. They must be re-evaluated as thousands of inconsistencies and contradictions make this Orwellian tale even more pressing, now that our calendars cross yet another 911 anniversary.

In war, you deny information, spread lies and use psychological warfare. An expert on military information operations explains how Bush has mastered this technique -- and used it against the American people.
On Thursday, Iraq's interim prime minister, Iyad Allawi, will speak before a joint meeting of Congress, and from what he said in London on his way to the United States, it looks like Americans are going to be getting more of the strategic information operations that have been crucial to Bush's policy on Iraq from the beginning.

Nothing I can remember on Bush and Iraq in our website, would rule out Stanley Hilton's revolutionary theory and revelations. They are mind-boggling and a real shocker - like one of the worst scenarios, which I suspected about 9/11, but could not prove to be true. However the lawyer, Stanley Hilton, seems solid and well-connected with a good reputation and a long legal history. I don't think he's gone off his nut. If this worst scenario is indeed true, I think humanity is in for much worse than we've seen so far. We are looking at completely unprincipled and desperate men, willing to gamble with the future of the world for very high stakes. This includes hanging on to power at any cost. It shows a willingness to invent, under Bush's new nuclear doctrines, any phoney justification to use nuclear weapons to achieve their goals. I think they would take the risk of setting off a global-destroying nuclear war, rather than be exposed, shamed and prosecuted. Hitler and other tyrants, have expressed the wish to take others with them if they fall, often blaming failure on those they have abused.

Stanley Hilton was a senior advisor to Sen Bob Dole (R) and has personally known Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz for decades. This courageous man has risked his professional reputation, and possibly his life, to get this information out to people.

Three Years Later: Peaceful Tomorrows 9/11/04 Statement

September 11, 2004

Nearly three years ago, September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows was born out of a shared belief that America’s military response to the 9/11 attacks which took our loved ones’ lives would result in the deaths of countless innocent civilians and increase recruitment for terrorist causes, making the United States, and the world, less safe and less free for generations to come.

  Why al-Qaeda is winning
by Pepe Escobar
September 10, 2004

Three years after September 11, President George W Bush's crusade is a failure. "War on terror" is a meaningless myth: you
can't combat a supple attack machine like al-Qaeda with shock and awe. What should have been a long, meticulous police operation was turned by Bush - instigated by his foreign policy adviser, God - into an illegal, preemptive attack on a nation that had nothing to do with terror.
This policy has actually increased terror attacks around the world. Last year in Cairo, on the eve of the invasion of Iraq, Sheikh Yamani, a man who knows one or two things about Arabs, violence and oil, said the invasion would produce "one hundred bin Ladens". They are here, and they have no one else but Bush to thank.

by Alex Jones & Paul Joseph Watson

For almost three years since 9/11 independent researchers have stockpiled individual smoking guns which prove that the official version of events was not only a lie but operationally impossible.
However, no single smoking gun has yet been forwarded to explain why air defenses categorically reversed Standard Operating Procedure and failed to respond to hijacked jetliners.
Until now. More and more individuals are looking at the facts and highlighting exercise drills that took place on the morning of 9/11.    See:   http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2004/080904wargamescover.htm

Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear & the Selling of American Empire
The election-year insta-docs keep rising like sunflowers from the Bush admin cow pile; this week, we have a Media Education Foundation–produced primer on neocon world-shaping, post–9-11 skullduggery, and Iraqi Freedom duplicity. More or less a Bud Abbott alternative to Fahrenheit 9/11's Lou Costello, the film sticks closely to well-established facts—the revelation of pre–9-11 plans to attack Iraq, Paul Wolfowitz's age-old rationales for global dominance, the self-contradictory public statements (read: lies) of virtually every major broker on the Bush team, etc.—and nicely, if redundantly, complements the familiar news footage with opinionated talking heads (Chomsky, Mark Crispin Miller, profs, vets, etc.).

Terrorist Warnings Just Another Way Bush Will Steal Election
I'm probably one of thousands—maybe tens of thousands—who believe George W. Bush will do anything to retain control of the White House. It's not safe to have a healthy dose of skepticism like this these days. But this has to be said. I don't believe the country is going to be attacked by al-Qaeda anytime soon. I don't care how specific the so-called threat is. I don't care how many targets have been identified. I don't care how solid this new information is. I don't buy any of it. What I do believe is whenever Bush's approval ratings start slipping, the administration issues a terrorist warning saying an attack is imminent. Coincidence? I don't think so.

9/11 Whistleblower Sibel Edmonds breaks John Ashcroft's gag order against her
August 4, 2004

Sibel Edmonds is an amazingly courageous former FBI translator. She lost her job at the FBI for insisting that extremely important information on the 9/11 attacks she came across in her work be correctly interpreted and passed on to the appropriate high-level officials. This information reveals clear foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks not mentioned in the recently released 9/11 Commission report. As I also work as a contract interpreter for the US Department of State, a mutual friend put me in email contact with Sibel several months ago. I have been deeply impressed with her unwavering commitment to honesty and to revealing the truth so that we can avoid another attack on the scale of 9/11. She has been courageously trying to expose this information ever since losing her job, until now working within the constraints of a gag order against her.

by David Sirota and Christy Harvey
August 3, 2004

If desperation is ugly, then Washington, D.C. today is downright hideous.
As the 9/11 Commission recently reported, there was “no credible evidence” of a collaborative relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda. Similarly, no weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq. With U.S. casualties mounting in an election year, the White House is grasping at straws to avoid being held accountable for its dishonesty.

"Bush is taking powerful drugs to control his depression, erratic behaviour, and paranoia" "Psychiatrist Dr. Justin Frank, in his book "Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President wrote that Bush was " a paranoid megalomaniac" and "untreated alcoholic" whose mental capacities are seriously diminished" Couple these with Bush's bizarre Christian Fundamentalist religious beliefs, that the often predicted heavenly armageddon is coming with Israel the centre, when believers like Bush will go straight to heaven and the unbelievers (the rest of us) will rot in hell. An induced nuclear armageddon would be a fulfilment of the Biblical prophecy, or so some fundamentalists believe.

- A review of "The New Pearl Harbor" by David Ray Griffin
At the Cannes Film Festival last week, a predominantly American audience gave maverick film director Michael Moore a standing ovation for his controversial film, Fahrenheit 9/11. The movie, which won the coveted Palme D'Or, is a blistering critique of the Bush administration’s motives for the "war on terror," and even goes so far as to suggest that the Twin Tower atrocities provided a convenient mandate for America to invade Iraq.
.........British Cabinet Minister, the MP Michael Meacher, wrote the foreword of the book. In it he says: "Never in modern history has an event of such cataclysmic significance been shrouded in such mystery. So many of the key facts remain unexplained on any plausible basis, and so many of the key actors have put forward contradictory accounts only to be forced to retract or cover up later."

This is the New York newspaper Village Voice's review of Michael Moore's film "Fahrenheit 9/11" shown at the Cannes film festival. On August 6, 2001, while vacationing in Crawford, Texas, George Bush received an intelligence briefing called "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S." It included revelations that al Qaeda members were conducting "surveillance of federal buildings in New York"; the World Trade Center was mentioned in the first paragraph, the prospect of terrorist "retaliat[ion] in Washington" in the second. According to the briefing, Osama bin Laden's organization was acting in ways "consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York."

  Conspiracy Kooks?   by Carol Wolman
April 27, 2004

Most Americans, including many liberals and critics of the Bush administration, have bought the official story that 9-11 was perpetrated by Al Qa'eda, and the only questions to be asked have to do with the failure of intelligence. Those who question this story and want to investigate other possibilities are dismissed as "conspiracy kooks".
As a practicing psychiatrist, I hear many stories from my patients about how they are being conspired against. Some of the stories are psychotic paranoia, others are all too real. A woman being abused by her spouse, for instance, is truly being persecuted, and the perpetrator may have the whole family convinced that she is "crazy". I would be remiss if I didn't take her story seriously.

Theologian Charges White House - Complicity in 9/11 Attack
There’s nothing the least bit wild-eyed or hysterical about David Ray Griffin. In person, he’s disarmingly calm, and speaks in the unflappably precise and deliberate style of a lifelong academic. Which is exactly what Griffin is. A respected philosopher of religion at the Claremont School of Theology since the 1970s and longtime Santa Barbara resident, Griffin is now raising questions that even President Bush’s harshest critics are afraid to think, let alone ask aloud.
In his latest book, The New Pearl Harbor — released just two weeks ago — Griffin all but accuses the Bush administration of taking a dive on September 11 and giving Al Qaeda terrorists an unobstructed shot at the World Trade Center. According to Griffin, a case can be made that the Bush administration arranged the attack, or allowed it to happen. He is aware that he may be dismissed as a conspiracy nut, but given the “transcendent importance” of the issue, Griffin is willing to assume that risk and has taken to repeating Michael Moore’s line on the subject: “Personally, I’m not into conspiracy theories except those that are true.” I met with Griffin over coffee to discuss his book and the September 11 investigation. The following is an edited account of their conversation.

Israel/US vs Palestine & The Middle East
Both Israel and US are the only nuclear powers in the Mid-East. Israel is stealing land from Palestine, building Israeli settlements and huge walls through the middle of the stolen land in defiance of many UN resolutions and assassinating people they label as "terrorists". They have reached out and bombed well within Syria, on the grounds of "attacking terrorists or terrorist camps".

  'They impeach murderers, don't they?'
by Ted Rall
June 13, 2003

Topic: Commander-In-Thief Bush Must Step Down
George W. Bush told us that Iraq and Al Qaeda were working together. They weren't. He repeatedly implied that Iraq had had something to do with 9/11. It hadn't. He claimed to have proof that Saddam Hussein possessed banned weapons of mass destruction. He didn't. As our allies watched in horror and disgust, Bush conned us into a one-sided war of aggression that killed and maimed thousands of innocent people, destroyed billions of dollars in Iraqi infrastructure, cost tens of billions of dollars, cost the lives of American soldiers, and transformed our international image as the world's shining beacon of freedom into that of a marauding police state. Presidents Nixon and Clinton rightly faced impeachment for comparatively trivial offenses; if we hope to restore our nation's honor, George W. Bush too must face a president's gravest political sanction.

The official story on Iraq has never made sense. The connection that the Bush administration has tried to draw between Iraq and al-Qaida has always seemed contrived and artificial. The pieces just didn't fit. Something else had to be going on; something was missing.
