Waging Designer Wars While World Burns

Comment by Larry Ross, July 27, 2006

It would have been very different for the world's future if Al Gore had been allowed to become U.S. President in 2000. He is well-motivated and would have had the power to directly address the world's growing environmental problems.

But the system has become so totally corrupted, that a great many people collaborated to steal the election and have George Bush installed as President in 2,000. The Democrats did not fight it in 2,000, and did not fight it in 2,004 when John Kerry was cheated out of his election to become President. John Kerry was already partly corrupted as he refused to give the U.S. electors the truth about Bush's litany of lies to initiate the illegal war against Iraq. Although John Kerry was "anyone but Bush" he was not much better than Bush as he even promised to increase U.S. troops in Iraq in order to win Bush's illegal war.

According to Bush's Fundamentalist beliefs, God will take care of global warming, while Bush wages his illegal wars and plans to start more. Millions of Americans agree, as Bush has assured his chosen people that God approves of his wars, and presumably, the U.S. killing of 250,000 Iraqis. Although the American opposition to Bushism at grass roots level is growing, the Democrats are too corrupted and compromised to give much leadership.

It's very, very scary and very, very good. The simulations showing how water levels are predicted to change with polar ice melt are particularly terrifying.
Obviously, being a greenie frog, I'm already well aware of the problem of climate change and its implications, ...
