This article and others on this site, provide the evidence that the 9/11 attacks were were not as portrayed by the Bush Administration and the mass media.

I suggest that this tragedy and its implications, and the actions that have flowed from it, be of the greatest concern to responsible people everywhere. Two wars have been justified - Afghanistan and Iraq - on the basis of the official story of the 9/11 attack. The centre piece of the Bush Administration is the enormously expensive and destructive so-called "war on terror". More wars (perhaps on Iran and Syria and others) have been suggested. Although people may not feel directly involved, there are huge risks in much wider wars - even the use of nuclear weapons. That could rapidly escalate into a World War III which could destroy humanity. Like it or not, we are all involved and can become victims in various ways, if the strategy of a small Neo-conservative group - the Bush Administration - continues to be believed, obeyed and implemented.

Consider the evidence and flaws in the official story, and the attempts to cover up these flaws and suppress investigation of the tragedy and intimidate dissenters.

Those who connect the dots, analyse the facts and make logical deductions, may conclude that the Bush Administration designed the 9/11 attacks as a pretext to justify the two wars. Here are some reasons why:

1. To acquire and control world oil resources, distribution and pricing, for profit and power.
2. To enable repressive US legislation to suppress dissent and criticism, and condition the US public to accept an American version of fascism.
3. To terrorise the US public and Congress and make them more obedient to the Bush Administration.
4. To provide access to the US treasury in order to make war, and provide no-bid contracts to Bush cronies, and reward the Pentagon and related military.
5. To reward Bush supporters, and the military/industrial/oil/intelligence complex.
6. To provide a basis for unlimited expansion of the war, possibly to a holy war against Islam and beyond.
7. The Neo-conservative extremists now installed throughout the Bush Administration put forward a plan for the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, long before they started either war. They claimed "we need another Pearl Harbour" to provide a justification. The 9/11 attacks were just what they needed. The Bush Neocons see these wars as a step toward US global domination. The deepening chaos and killing in Iraq could be a help in providing excuses for the US to blame neighbour states for aiding terrorism in Iraq, thus providing reasons to expand the Iraq war to Syria and Iran. (e.g. This tactic has been used before. They blamed North Vietnam for aiding South Vietnamese guerillas, thus providing an excuse to make war on North Vietnam. They blamed Cambodia for harbouring South Vietnamese guerillas, thus providing an excuse for saturation bombing of Cambodia and facilitating the emergence of the genocidal Pol Pot dictatorship.) This formula seems to work well with the American public, so it looks as if the Bush-Neocon Administration will use it again in Iraq.

In the process of pursuing the dream of US Global Empire they plan to convert US Democracy into an American version of fascism, with suppression of exposure of the truth, suppression of criticism, curtailing of civil liberties and widespread false imprisonment, torture and murder. All these elements are now in the process of being implemented. Certainly the US mass media and many overseas media, particularly the foreign or US-owned as in New Zealand, are doing their best to act as de-facto propaganda agencies for the Bush Administration. The US has used similar strategies before, to justify war, or escalating a war as in Vietnam. (Almost the entire media in New Zealand backed the US war against Vietnam). Hitler used a similar technique when he burned down the Reichstag and blamed terrorism. Then he used this to justify his bid for dictatorial powers and mobilising the German people and state for World War II. The US almost used a similar plan -"Operation Northwoods" - in 1962 to justify a war on Cuba.

So it is not a surprise that similar tactics would actually be used by the most extreme administration the US has ever had - the Bush Administration. It is surprising how many people still believe that this could never happen - that Bush would never, ever do such things, etc etc.

That is one of the main reasons for US acceptance and apathy and a second term for Bush. People can not and will not believe their government would commit such crimes - killing all those innocent people, making wars and contemplating huge wars that can endanger humanity. Impossible.

Then again, remember that Bush describes himself as a deeply committed Fundamentalist Christian, who enjoys God's blessing and guidance on whatever he does. All the lies and illegal wars; all the killing and murdering are not crimes. Bush and his followers believe they have God's divine blessing. With beliefs like that anything is possible even the nuclear armageddon that millions of dedicated Bush supporters are eagerly awaiting. They believe an Armageddon was prophesied in the Bible and Bush has God's blessing to help it come true - soon.

For many people, this conclusion may appear to be outrageous, unthinkable and utterly impossible. They want to bury it and move on to other things. Just as most Germans treated the notion that Hitler burned down the Reichstag as unthinkable and impossible. Then six years of World War II, the Final Solution, and 50 million dead followed. What will follow Bush's "divinely blessed and sanctioned" crimes?

I ask you on behalf of your own life, the lives of your children and future generations, to consider the evidence with the same dedication that billions considered the evidence against Michael Jackson. The mass media helped make people focus on the Michael Jackson trivia and the sex antics of celebrities. But they will not mention the huge issues of unanswered 9/11 questions. Most will rubbish as "conspiracy theorists" those who do. Also, the Bush lies and illegalities of the Iraq war and possible consequences will not be mentioned. They would like you to forget they ever happened, or simply accept these crimes as they accept them. Basically they studiously report and want you to accept the Bush definitions of reality.

On these issues how different are our mass from the media in George Orwell's famous book "1984". They have learned since the Vietnam war, what and how to report and what not to report, so as to manipulate the public to accept Bush's wars and justifications.

Former Bush Team Member Says WTC Collapse Likely A Controlled Demolition And 'Inside Job'

Highly recognized former chief economist in Labor Department now doubts
official 9/11 story, claiming suspicious facts and evidence cover-up indicate
government foul play and possible criminal implications.

A former chief economist in the Labor Department during President Bush's first term now believes the official story about the collapse of the WTC is 'bogus,' saying it is more likely that a controlled demolition destroyed the Twin Towers and adjacent Building No. 7.

"If demolition destroyed three steel skyscrapers at the World Trade Center on 9/11, then the case for an 'inside job' and a government attack on America would be compelling," said Morgan Reynolds, Ph.D, a former member of the Bush team who also served as director of the Criminal Justice Center at the National Center for Policy Analysis headquartered in Dallas, TX.

Reynolds, now a professor emeritus at Texas A&M University, also believes it's 'next to impossible' that 19 Arab Terrorists alone outfoxed the mighty U.S. military, adding the scientific conclusions about the WTC collapse may hold the key to the entire mysterious plot behind 9/11.   Full Article

PhD at North Carolina Wesleyan College offers 9/11course for college credit and is looking for answers government has never given
The Bush administration's complicity in the events surrounding 9/11 has now made its way into the curriculum of a college political science course taught at Wesleyan College in North Carolina.
The course, entitled "9/11: The Road to Tyranny", was the brainchild of college professor Jane Christensen, who saw the social need to explore the many questions about the WTC attacks and the war on terrorism.
Being taught this spring, the course explores the validity of the government's official 9/11 story, the many alternative theories advanced and the way the war on terrorism has drastically changed American life.
