Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction – Numbers by
Pol D'Huyvetter - Thursday, February
20 Hi, with
credit to http://www.stopwar.org.uk/ I believe we should get following information about weapons of mass destruction (WMD) published very widely. The corporate media will not (yet) give attention to it, therefore let have it on as many websites and newsletters as possible. It is clear we do not only need inspections in Iraq but also in many other places ... and of course: global disarmament. I was struck by the absence of this element in any of the negotiations within the European Council, when we met last Monday with a representative of the office of Xavier Solana and a spokesperson of the Greek Presidency of the EU. There is still lots of work ahead of us. Who has WMD? Nuclear capabality by country (for those who could not read the graphic) http://www.nrdc.org/nuclear/default.asp
Does anyone have numbers for biological and chemical weapons? From
European perspective, let us remind you that members of parliament aswell
as journalists, NGO's and common people do not have access to any information
about the illegal deployment of an estimated 150 US B-61 WMD in Belgium,
Britain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey. Pol D'Huyvetter Voor
