U.S. Neocons Promote
War With Iran For Israel
Comment by Larry
Ross, December 13, 2005
One of the strongest influences
in the Bush Administration are the Neo-Conservatives. They fill many of
the top positions in the Bush Administration. Their war plans for the
U.S. in the Middle East have so far been implemented, such as their phoney
war with Iraq. It was promoted before the 9/11 attack- the "Pearl
Harbour" the Neocons claimed they needed to justify the war to the
American people. Although the war was based on a number of lies - now
well-known and publicised, both the Republicans and Democrats want victory
over Iraq - nothing less. This and John Kerry and Hillary Clinton's silence
about the war lie's is one of many indications that the Democrats have
sold out to the Republicans and that the American system of Democracy
has been corrupted by the military/industrial complex, other corporates,
the oil interests and other special interests.
Bush's original war goals and justifications have long been exposed as
lies and lacking substance. For example: They found no WMD in Iraq, no
nuclear weapons program and no plans to attack the U.S., U.K. or neighbouring
states, and no links with 9/11 and terrorists. Bush is still trying to
blame faulty intelligence for the mistakes. This is a very big lie as
there were many pre-war intelligence reports, UN inspection reports and
experts who said Saddam had no WMD or nuclear weapons and did not support
the attack on 9/11. There was never any real reason or provocation for
the U.S. to make war on Iraq. It was all a giant fabrication. I think
it was one of the greatest cons ever perpetrated on the U.S. public and
it's still going on thanks to the support of the Democrats and Republicans
who treat Bush lies like papal edicts.
Once his illegal war began and his justifications revealed as bogus, Bush
claimed the real reason for the war was to free the Iraqi people from
the yoke of a barbarous dictator and introduce Democracy in the Middle
East etc. although the original excuses used to persuade Americans to
attack Iraq have been found to be bogus and without any substance, the
Bush Administration supported by the Democrats, is willing to change the
reasons and go on squandering billions of dollars fighting this phoney,
crazy and dangerous war until victory is achieved. The U.S. created and
controls the new regime in Iraq and calls it 'democratic'. This idea is
duly repeated and sold by the U.S. mass media to Americans, who seem to
be among the easiest people in the world to fool.
One good sign is that the U.S. polls show that fewer Americans believe
or trust their leader.
It's a healthy sign but might be easily reversed if another 9/11 attack
is staged (1) to justify a U.S. war on Iran and
(2) boost the popularity of George Bush and prepare people to accept new
draconian anti-terrorist laws.
Osama Bin Laden, the supposed author of the 9/11 attack, was almost forgotten,
as Bush zeroed in on his new phoney culprit -Saddam Hussein. But Saddam
has been caught and is on trial. The Americans can no loner use him as
'The Threat'.
Now Bush has decreed that al- Qaeda is the terrorist threat in Iraq",
where there was no al-Qaeda before.
Rather than a 'war on terrorism' which never existed in Iraq before the
Americans invaded, the Iraq war has become a seedbed of terrorism and
a training ground for an expanding al-Qaeda which American actions helped
create.
As the U.S. has waged an illegal war of aggression on Iraq based on lies,
and without U.N. approval, it has become a rogue state. This has created
many more enemies, widespread suspicion of U.S. Motives, and alienated
allies. It is an extremely dangerous situation when the most powerful
nation in history has gone off the rails and is a threat to everyone.
Our world is in a very fragile situation with many growing problems -
from Global warming to nuclear disarmament. In many cases, particularly
nuclear disarmament and global warming, the U.S. sabotages all efforts
to
solve these problems. If the U.S. begins a war with Iran, other problems
will multiply and become more threatening.
Is there a reason in this madness?
Yes according to Andrew Kilgore's article which follows. It is part of
the Neocon plan and the next step is a war with Iran.
That can be far more crippling and expensive for the U.S. than the Iraq
war and could become nuclear. The U.S. military is demoralised and bogged
down in Iraq for years to come. Thus the only kind of large war they can
contemplate is one where they use their superior firepower, such as nuclear
and other weapons of mass destruction(WMD).
How do they overcome this last great taboo - the decision to use nuclear
weapons?. Look no further than Hiroshima. President Truman in 1945 claimed
nuclear weapons saved American lives and ended the war against Japanese
aggression.
In their war with Iran, the Bush neocons will probably say: "We had
to use nuclear weapons to save American lives". That excuse is the
passport to any pre-planned atrocity or nuclear war crime. It is almost
certain to get the support of both Republicans and Democrats. Doubters,
dissenters and other opponents will be dismissed as 'un-American, lacking
patriotism, terrorist sympathisers, cowards, traitors etc'. Most Americans
will be more afraid of speaking out than afraid of what nuclear weapons
may end up doing to themselves, family and the world.
As the Neocons might say: " the Americans are the most easily fooled,
controlled and led people in the world today. Fooling the Americans into
war, even using nuclear weapons, is a 'cakewalk'."
There is not much time left to prevent a series of disasters much bigger
than the Iraq war, that could grow to consume us all.
I hope that Americans will wake up in time to stop the Bush Administration
from carrying out it's plan, and prevent any possible covert action plan
to stage another 9/11 attack to justify war.
Remember, whoever arranged the first 9/11 attack in 2001, the Bush Neocons
quickly used it to justify the phoney war with Iraq and a number of associated
measures to defraud the U.S. public. The Neocons may well try to use this
ruse a second time, and let people go on to debate who did it, why they
proceed on schedule, with their plan to make war.
The Neocons may be crazy and extreme, but they are also very dedicated,
skilled and intelligent at gaining power and manipulating U.S. policy.
A driving motive for the Neocons is to serve the interests and expansionist
ambitions of Israel. Israeli expansion and illegal occupation of Palestine
territory; it's illegal warmaking and it's secretive nuclear weapons program
are all justified by the Neocons and by U.S. actions in support of Israel.
Dear Americans, please connect the dots and take action before it's
too late.

Neocons
Concentrate on Promoting U.S.-Iran War
By Andrew I. Killgore,
Washington Report,
March 2005
Steven P. Weisman wrote in The New York Times of Nov. 19 that the biggest
challenge in President George W. Bushs second term is how
to contain Irans nuclear program. In fact, however, Iran constitutes
no threat to the United States. Its threat is to Israel, according
to some (read neocons) in the administration who believe that
Iran supports violence against Israel and helps the resistance in Iraq.
In 1996 the Zionists put Iran back in the
American doghouse by means of Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shii guerrilla
group which Iran was helping to fight Israels illegal occupation
of south Lebanon. With the Zionists charging that Hezbollah was a terrorist
group, the United States passed legislation imposing sanctions against
any company spending $20 million on Irans or Libyas oil or
gas industry. In 2001 the Iran-Libya Sanctions Act (ILSA), which effectively
meant that no oil or gas pipeline could transit Iran from the Caspian
region, was extended for five years.
Since Hezbollah eventually forced Israel
to withdraw from south Lebanon in 2000, Weisman, a neocon/Zionist front
man, now claims that Tehran is supporting Hamas and Islamic Jihad. One
can only express disappointment that the neocons latest tacticself-serving
as always, of courseis so lacking in subtlety and imagination.
During the American war on Iraq, Israel has
been free...
