from the last 24 hours (or so) Friends, University professors and statistical experts have released a study that shows something went wrong with Florida's electronic voting machines. They call for investigation. On the Steal Your Election website you can read an article from Computer World about it and you can download the actual study. The recount of New Hampshire is now underway. Read Ralph Nader's official press release, and a correspondence from one of the volunteers. We eagerly await the results. The Democratic Party evidently has not given up in Ohio. They have filed a lawsuit against Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, who has become the Katherine Harris of 2004. Blackwell has already been criticized by one judge for suppressing voter registration, and now he wants to disqualify most of the provisional ballots, which are likely to favor Kerry. John Kerry did an interview for NECN cable
news. We may be grasping at straws, but some people believe he threw us
a couple bones. In the interview, he said twice that he was about 50,000
votes short in Ohio. This is different from the 136,000 in the "official"
numbers (which do not include the provisional ballots). He also referred
to the fact that the votes are still being counted on more than one occasion.

There is an effort to get Bev Harris from BlackBoxVoting.org interviewed on national TV and radio programs. The "regular media" has locked her out, but there may be other shows that are willing. People are sending email to John Stewart, Oprah, Howard Stern, and others who might be open to the idea. Please participate by contacting one of these shows that you enjoy and using your own words to request Bev as a guest. Has everyone seen the Votergate movie? If not, you must. You can download it for free at Votergate.tv. It's a must. Consider having a Votergate party, or making copies of it on CDs and giving them to your friends. Remember to keep checking the website; this email does not go out as often as I update the website. A lot of people want to know, is there any possibility, even just a remote possibility that the election result could change. And you hear some people say, it'll never happen, Kerry's already conceded, it's a done deal. Well let me tell you something. Anyone who claims to know for a fact what is or isn't going to happen, they should call me because I'd love to know what the lottery numbers are for tomorrow. We saw a lot of things happen in 2000 that no one would have predicted. I'm not saying that it will be overturned, I'm just saying that nothing is written in stone yet. And as long as that's the case, we will continue to try to get to the truth, whatever it is.
