Donna Thorne writes below, a penetrating analysis with warnings about Bush's imposition of a police state on Americans in the name of protecting US freedom and democracy. More Americans now believe that their democratic America has come under the control of a criminal conspiracy, with a genius for persuading people that 'black is white' - 'war is peace' and 'self-imposed slavery today will guarantee freedom tomorrow'. In short George Orwell's book "1984" has come to full flower in the USA today. The slaughter of 9/11, endless illegal unjustified wars, and control of the mass media to spread their propaganda and lies is the way Americans are being persuaded to give up their freedoms and accept the new police state 'for their own good". No questions or doubts, and no real exposures. The mass media are enforcing that essential element of the Bush criminal administration. Only smaller publications and internet publish the truth. How might Bush implement the next more draconian steps toward a police state? Donna Thorne did not expand her analysis to make future predictions. But Bush neocon plans and the present war momentum, do not allow the regime to rest on their victories. I will venture some predictions based on continuing studies of the Bush regime, it's history and the well known Bush-neocon plans as expressed in their own papers. Logical extrapolations and deductions are made from this data. I hope I am wrong, but Bush and his colleagues have established a record of multiple war crimes and crimes against the US Constitution and UN Charter. They are desperate. Unsavoury truths and record corruption scandals are coming out in spite of media efforts to suppress and not report the truth. Bush's popularity has reached new lows. I believe the Bush regime will compound their crimes with a new spectacular gamble. This will involve staging a false flag operation, like the 9/11 attack on the US in 2001, then blame Iran and use that lie as an excuse to launch a nuclear strike on Iran. Bush's popularity is likely to soar up again as it did after the 9/11 attack in 2001. To kick off the next steps in his war plan for Iran , Bush needs another 9/11 attack on the US , but perhaps on a bigger scale than the 9/11 attack in 2001. Given what Americans, including Congress, have already accepted as a result of 9/11, a similar staged event will usher in the next phase toward a full police state. Most Congressmen accept and repeat Bush lies about Iraq . They vote to give Bush whatever funds he needs to carry out his wars based on his lies about Iraq and Saddam Hussein. They know Bush has lied extensively, but pretend these lies are true. Already most of them are parroting similar Bush lies about Iran . So when Bush stages his false flag and blames Iran , they will automatically believe, or pretend to believe, that Iran committed a terrorist action against the US . . They will then approve whatever the Bush regime wants, including a huge new war on Iran using nuclear weapons. Because using nuclear weapons is such a big step and departure from the 62 year nuclear weapons ban, Bush needs a spectacular 'false flag' to persuade Congress, the American people and other nations, that using nuclear weapons against Iran is justified. Bush's probable use of nuclear weapons is extensively mentioned in millions of articles on this subject on Internet. Search on Google with " US nuclear war on Iran " for over 17 million articles. He could never justify nuclear weapons use otherwise and needs something big and evil to blame on Iran . Blaming Iran for his quagmire in Iraq is just a desperate hoax and a transparently poor joke. It is a criminally insane plan - perhaps the biggest crime in history. Most people will refuse to believe their President would, or could, do such a thing to fellow Americans. They will automatically reject the idea as a "crazy conspiracy theory". But they forget that Bush's war on Iraq is one of the biggest conspiracies in history. It is perhaps the greatest con job so far on the American people and the world. I hope people will remember that before they reject the possibility that Bush may commit even worse crimes against humanity, such as staging a false flag operation and blaming Iran. People are uninformed and unprepared. Many will tend to forget Bush's previous war crimes and lies, as they embrace this gigantic new lie as true. Various steps will be taken by the Bush regime and media to suppress doubts, inconvenient questions and any shocking exposures of the new batch of false flag lies. A growing US minority suspects the Bush regime staged the 9/11 attack in 2001 in order to justify the wars on Afghanistan and Iraq . These people suspect Bush may stage a similar event to justify the attack on Iran , as I do. Although some of the best minds in the US agree, they do not seem large and powerful enough to affect Bush plans. There are too many well-known commentators and publications in the US which reject any theory or any facts, which indicate Bush's probable complicity in the 9/11 attack and/or cover-up of the facts after the event. Adolph Hitler was unfortunately right when he wrote in his book Mein Camp, that "The bigger the lie the more people will believe it" On that basis Hitler was able to burn down the German Reichstag, blame terrorists and justify launching a series of wars across Europe culminating in World War II and 50 million dead. The False flag strategy certainly worked for Hitler. Because there is no longer something like a 'free press' in the US , it may work for the Bush regime. The American people are almost totally ignorant about successful false flag operations used by governments in the past to deceive and fool their people into supporting a war. They are unprepared. Only a few political commentators are writing that the Bush Administration may stage a false flag to fool the people to justify a nuclear attack on Iran . Most avoid the issue because they think their other good arguments will be rejected if they mention the possibility of Bush staging a false flag operation. It's too far out for most people to accept. Perhaps that's why this type of operation has worked so well in the past for Hitler and other leaders, including US President Lyndon Johnson in 1965. The US staged a fake attack on US destroyers in the Gulf of Tonkin in order to justify escalating the Vietnam War to bombing North Vietnam. All but two US Senators agreed with the deception and voted to support Johnson's escalation of the war. Other examples such as the "Operation Northwoods" plan are on Internet. Thus it seems reasonable to assume this kind of evil strategy will be used again, particularly in this case, and particularly by this Administration, which has already clocked up such an evil and deceptive record of war crimes. After Bush's much-heralded 'pre-emptive nuclear strike' against Iran , a number of disastrous consequences will likely follow. If people object to any step in this process they will be accused of being "with the terrorists" as Bush has repeatedly warned. So most people will keep quiet, as in Nazi Germany or Orwell's 1984 world. Others will be shocked and fearful about what may next happen. Bush's attack could result in a global nuclear world war III which annihilates humanity within hours. Or this may be a later consequence in days, weeks or months as Bush wars expand in the Middle East and perhaps go global after his initial attack on Iran . If he gets away with it, without immediate escalation, the Bush conspiracy will proceed domestically as well. Bush will rapidly introduce new emergency controls in view of the crisis brought on by the 'Iranian treachery' which the Bush regime staged as a 'false flag covert operation. Martial law, conscription and various police state controls and imprisonment of dissenters are expected steps. New US prisons or 'detention centres' have already been built by Halliburton for this purpose. US Presidential elections will 'be postponed due to the crisis' and the Bush regime will rule indefinitely, until replaced by a similar police state regime that will carry on the Bush neocon policies into the future. As most Democrats already accept neocon lies, wars and the 9/11 attack as true, a new 'liberal' democratic regime might be allowed to govern under Hillary Clinton who has bought Bush lies "hook, line and sinker" from the very beginning. So the American people may get a different name, a new face and lots of promises, but the actual policies may not differ that much. As part of the illegal Iraq war conspiracy and coming pre-emptive strike against Iran, the UK and Australia 'coalition-of-the-willing' will believe the new lies. Like the Bush regime, they may also implement new police state controls on their populations. Will New Zealand people and Parliament believe Bush's new lies and also adopt new police state controls? I hope not, but they are very poorly informed by a media that reflects the official US government position on anything to do with Bush's wars on terror. Many New Zealanders might be fooled by Bush's ‘false flag' on Iran and the new 'big lies'. Instead of playing games with the Bush conspiracy, Congress and the American people should act now to stop Bush before he continues past the point of no return. They should implement the US "Impeach Bush and Cheney" campaign immediately. Once Bush stages some kind of 'false flag' operation, blames Iran and then makes a pre-emptive nuclear strike on Iran it will be too late to try and stop him. The damage will be done and the die will be cast. Events and police state controls will drown out and smother any protests. The new war will take on a momentum of its own.
